Matelda in Royal Guard Uniform

In the KHAS board I roleplay on, Matelda has recently had a change of alliances, formerly a knight of Trisham, now she's indentured to the royal family of Corel. So you know what this means? Change of clothes! The Royal Guard on Corel wear red to distinguish themselves from the more regular blue look that most of the knights there have, dispite the fact that Knave (the king) seems to always be decked out in blue gear too. You'll note that it has a slight 'Valor' feel to it as seen in KH2.

Royal Guards are unlike regular knights in that they are provided living quarters within the main palace instead of at the barracks, these quarters are essentially houses in their own right. Guardsmen and Women are essentially the equivilent of Nobles, but anybody from any walk of life can become one if they distinguish themselves. Not strapped to using a sword, they are individuals each with their own skills and fighting styles. The Head of the Royal Guard is considered the Kings proxy when he is away from the castle, and sits on the Council.
